What was the makeup inspiration?
Dimitris Giannetos: I used SheaMoisture Cosmetics to recreate the look from the Spring/Summer 2015 Chanel fashion show.
Where did you watch the Globes?
DG: We watched the ceremony from the room of The Beverly Hilton, with a tuna sandwich and salad. Don’t we look cute.

What was the makeup inspiration?
Agostina: Modern ‘50s.
What’s a tip for long-lasting makeup?
A: Apply your moisturizer 15 to 20 minutes before applying your foundation.

How did you create Joanne’s braided crown?
Ashley Streicher: After I was happy with the braids, I started wrapping one side up and securing with blond hair pins, then the other side until both ends met at the top crown of her head.
What did you drink while watching the Globes?
AS: Moët champagne.

What was the makeup inspiration?
Brett Freedman: I wanted her makeup to look grown up, a little naughty, and nowhere near the adjective “cute!”
Where did you watch the Globes?
BF: Amy and Tina were hosting, but also writing the show with their team. So all night we were in that room just offstage with TVs.

What was the hair inspiration?
Christian Marc: I wanted to do something a little French, a little undone.
Where did you watch the Globes?
CM: I watched a little bit with [actress] Natalie Martinez and her makeup artist, Carola Gonzalez, while we got her ready for her parties.

Deborah Lippmann: With my dear friends Linda Molitor and Dena Kaplan. Linda’s home has huge TVs in every room.

DL: Patrón on the rocks with lime to go with our amazing Mexican food. We then had a pre-toast with a great bottle of Cristal that Linda got for the occasion.

Can you tell us about Jane’s makeup?
Elan Bongiorno: I went for a soft-glam look. The dress was so bright and had so much going on I thought a Parisian, very chic look would work best.
What’s a good tip for long-lasting makeup?
EB: Prep the skin with an oil-absorbing primer and eyeshadow base.

Can you tell us about the makeup?
Coleen Campbell-Olwell: I wanted Kate's eyes to look sultry, so I used warm brown shades, well-groomed brows, and highlighted her luminous skin.
What did you eat while watching the Globes?
CCO: I treated myself to the California classic In-N-Out burger and fries, and it was delicious!

How did you choose Uzo’s red lip shade?
Janice Kinjo: The red in her dress was subtle but striking, so I wanted to bring that color to her lips.
Where did you watch the Globes?
JK: I watched the red carpet arrivals in Uzo’s hotel room and the actual show with my mom at home.

Jennifer Fisher: Standing on top of my bed with my iPhone out waiting to take pictures of celebrities wearing my pieces.
What did you drink during the viewing?
JF: Since it’s on a Sunday night, it always falls on taco night. There is usually some form of tequila involved!

What was the makeup inspiration?
Carola Gonzalez: The design of the dress by Mary Katrantzou, which has a 1950’s silhouette with a modern edge.
How did you create Kerry’s eye look?
CG: Black liner all around the eyes layered with a shimmery dark gray eyeshadow to break away from the usual black liner and add a spark to the eyes.

What piece did Sarah wear?
Eva Fehren: Saber earrings in 18K yellow gold with pale champagne diamonds.
Where did you watch the Globes?
EF: I was on a plane during the Golden Globes! I TiVo-ed them and plan on [watching them while I'm cuddled] up with my two best friends.

What was the hair inspiration?
Jonathan Colombini: 'Girlie and feminine.' We wanted the hair down with soft waves and a much more touchable, unstructured look.
Where did you watch the Globes?
JC: At home! I like a controlled environment so I can see who’s wearing who and, of course, who has the best hair.

What was the inspiration for Allison’s updo?
Joseph Chase: When I saw the dress Allison had chosen, I instantly thought of a Grace Kelly-inspired style. Allison has such great skin that I wanted to do something to show off her glowing face.
What’s a tip to keep hair lasting from the red carpet through the after-parties?
JC: I always like to add a great finishing spray before the celebrity gets into the car.

Can you tell us about the look for Frances?
Jo Baker: I wanted timeless, feminine makeup. The lips I kept simple with a pretty nude pink for low-maintenance upkeep.
What did you eat during the Globes?
JB: A hamburger from McDonald’s in between clients. Very fancy, I know. Sometimes you only have five minutes and you have to refuel.

Can you tell us about Joanne’s makeup?
Mai Quynh: I wanted to use rosy pinks on her cheeks and lips while adding drama on her eyes with a winged liner.
What’s a tip for keeping makeup fresh from the red carpet through after-parties?
MQ: I always leave my clients with a powder puff and their lipstick or gloss for touch-ups.

What was the inspiration for Catherine’s hair?
Maranda Widlund: An homage to Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vita.
Where did you watch the Globes?
MW: I was actually driving, so I just kept checking my phone for updates.

What was the hair inspiration?
Marilee Albin: On Michelle, we were inspired by the Jason Wu dress. Kathryn always likes to feel like herself and has great natural texture.
Where did you watch the Globes?
MA: I watched the ceremony with a great little group of my industry friends at one of their homes in West Hollywood.

Can you tell us about Dakota’s makeup?
Pati Dubroff: Dakota has incredible creamy clear skin and the best natural lip color. I didn’t want erase either of these features, just delicately enhance them and help make her eyes pop.
Where did you watch the Globes?
PD: I raced home to watch the show on my couch with my 11-year-old daughter, who was providing running commentary.

Can you tell us about Maura’s shoes?
Paul Andrew: Maura wore my “Paloma” d’orsay peep-toe sandals in black lizard with suede trim.
What did you eat during the Globes?
PA: I enjoyed a delicious dinner at White Street just before.

Can you tell us about Catherine’s makeup?
Scott Barnes: We wanted Catherine to have an effortless look that wasn’t too contrived. We decided to go with a smoky eye and a fresh nude lip.
Where did you watch the Globes?
SB: At a close friend’s house in the Hollywood Hills.
STEPHANIE HOBGOOD, GROOMER FOR VINCE VAUGHN
Can you tell us about Vince’s hair?
Stephanie Hobgood: He has the best curls. Swoon! I let his hair air-dry about 80 percent then ran a quarter-size amount of grooming creme by Bumble and Bumble. Then, I dried it using my favorite Ibiza dryer and my hands.
What did you eat and drink during the Globes?
SH: I ordered in Gaby’s Mediterranean food and poured myself a Jameson and ginger ale!
