Welcome to my website.
At the summit of Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town, South Africa.
I am a writer, storyteller, and founder with over 20 years of experience shaping stories for media and brands. In 2022, I left everything familiar and have been a digital nomad ever since. Living and working across multiple countries has clarified my voice, deepened my purpose, and brought me back to the work that matters most to me.
Today, I center narratives that build connection, advocate for social justice, and honor wellness as a path to liberation. My work is dedicated to reclaiming power and helping shape a more just, inclusive future for those of us in the global majority. This mission is at the heart of Gold-Dusted Living, my platform for independent journalism and storytelling.
The foundation of my work was built in print and online editorial, copywriting, branding, marketing, public relations, book publishing, and social media. I’ve crafted copy across all consumer touchpoints for brands including Thirteen Lune, The Bouqs, Fresh Beauty, Supergoop, Smashbox, Conair, Mattel, 11 Honoré, Bebe, Tommy Bahama, and Aloha. My editorial writings have appeared in outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Fast Company, Parade, Los Angeles Confidential, Gotham, Vegas, Capitol File, Angeleno, Weddings California, and Guest of a Guest.
I have also copyedited, proofread, and cold read books for Penguin Random House that include The Fastest Way to Fall, Sadie on a Plate, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, The Paris Bookseller, At Least You Have Your Health, Black Love Matters, and Death by Bubble Tea.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Politics from New York University, a Postgraduate Associate of Arts Degree in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and a Health Coaching Certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
